John Lyon Raises Over £1,700 For Charities

It has been confirmed that John Lyon has raised £1,740 for charity following his completion of the Virgin London Marathon in April (Click Here for Details). When Gift Aid is added, this figure should increase to over £2,000.

When asked how he felt about this, John replied "I'm delighted that I have been able to raise so much money for 2 very worthy causes. I know first hand how cancer can affect people and am glad to help in this way. I would like to thank everybody who has sponsored me.".

The money raised will be split equally between The Lymphoma Society and Alaw Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor which will enable them to purchase a new bladder scanner at a cost of £7,950.
